Goblin Underling

The Goblin Underling is the rank and file of the goblin forces that have taken hold of the farmlands. Armed with nothing more than a crude blade, these foot soldiers rely on numbers rather than strength to overwhelm unwary travelers.

Behavior

The Goblin Underling is a melee attacker that charges straight at you the moment it notices you. It has to close the distance before it can land a blow, and it swings its blade in a quick, sweeping motion.

While individually weak, Underlings are often found in pairs. New adventurers should be cautious when engaging multiple Underlings at once, especially without armor equipped.

Location

The Goblin Underling patrols the northern reaches of Glutton's Farmstead, near the overgrown fields, holding the ground between the farmhouse and the cottage and guarding the path that leads deeper into goblin territory.

Strategy

• They fall quickly to any weapon, so save your abilities for what is behind them.
• Keep moving to avoid being surrounded when fighting groups.
• New players can pick up the Simple Shirt and Simple Pants from the tables near The Guide before engaging.
• A basic slash attack pierces, so a row of them can be cut down together.
