Marauder's Bracers

Marauder's Bracers are hand armor taken as a trophy from a vanquished raider. They provide both armor and slash damage, making them one of the few gear pieces that boost offense and defense at once. They can also turn up carrying extra bonuses of their own.

Usage

The Marauder's Bracers are usable by all classes, which makes them valuable to the Chevalier and the Vanguard alike. The slash damage is a nice offensive bonus on top of the armor, especially since both classes deal slash with their basic attacks.

A pair may carry rarer bonuses on top of its base armor, so check the stats carefully before buying.

How to Obtain

• Merchant: The Merchant may carry Marauder's Bracers in his rotating stock.

Tips

• Usable by any class, so there is no reason to pass a pair up.
• The slash bonus helps a sword and a greatsword alike, so either class gains from it.
• They add damage as well as armor, which is unusual for a piece of armor.
• Watch for versions with Special modifier rolls for even more powerful stats.
