Combined with the Iron Skin prayer, a Chevalier wielding it can build substantial armor from those two sources alone, making most goblin attacks far less threatening.

How to Obtain

• Merchant: The Merchant may stock the Ornate Shield in his rotating inventory.

Tips

• Buy it when the Merchant has one in stock.
• Pair with Iron Skin prayer and other armor pieces for maximum damage reduction.
• Armor is at its best against many small hits, which is exactly what a Goblin Underling deals.
• Only available from the Merchant; it is not a starting item or drop.
