Strapped Boots

Strapped Boots are foot armor of an unusual kind. Rather than providing armor, they raise movement speed, making the wearer noticeably faster. Tied tight for the road ahead, they're a unique gear piece that prioritizes mobility over protection.

Usage

Movement speed affects how quickly your character crosses an area. Both classes start at the same pace, and the Strapped Boots lift it by a meaningful margin, which helps with dodging enemy projectiles, chasing enemies and general exploration.

The speed bonus is especially valuable against ranged enemies like the Goblin Archer and Goblin Warlock, as it makes sidestepping their projectiles easier.

How to Obtain

• Merchant: The Merchant may stock Strapped Boots.

Tips

• Extra speed helps dodge Goblin Warlock lightning orbs and Goblin Archer arrows.
• Usable by both classes, and particularly useful for the Vanguard, who needs to close distance without a shield to block.
• The piece to look for whenever the feet slot is empty.
