Phantom Strike

Phantom Strike raises slash damage for the Chevalier while toggled on. Slash is the primary damage type for the class, so this is the prayer that speeds up almost everything you do.

Effect

The bonus applies to the basic attack and to Heroic Strike, both of which deal slash. It lifts every swing the Chevalier makes, which is what makes it the prayer to leave running when nothing else is pressing.

It does not affect Ground Slam or Kick, which deal smash; Crippling Blow is the prayer for those.

Toggling

Prayers switch on instantly and lock out briefly after being switched off.

Strategy

• This is the default prayer for clearing Glutton's Farmstead once you are comfortable with the fights.
• It stacks with War Cry, which adds more slash on top for as long as the roar lasts.
• Swap to Iron Skin or Fortitude when you are pushing somewhere new.
• The basic attack pierces, so the bonus applies to every enemy in a lined-up row.
