Simple Sword
The Simple Sword is the main-hand weapon a Chevalier starts with. A humble but reliable blade, it deals slash damage and pairs naturally with a shield in the off-hand. Every Chevalier begins their adventure with this sword already equipped.
Usage
As a one-handed weapon, the Simple Sword leaves the off-hand free for a shield such as the Simple Shield or Ornate Shield. This sword-and-shield combination gives the Chevalier a balanced mix of offense and defense right from the start.
The sword's slash damage stacks with any bonus slash damage from prayers like Phantom Strike or gear like the Marauder's Bracers.
How to Obtain
- Starting equipment: Every new Chevalier begins with a Simple Sword.
- Merchant: The Merchant may stock this weapon.
Tips
- Its slash damage is modest, but enough to handle the early goblin encounters in Glutton's Farmstead.
